This is the best stuff that I've ever used to clean a coffeemaker! I was introduced to it when I received a free sample with the purchase of our coffeemaker, and after trying it, I was sold. I've been ordering and using this product for the past 2-3 years.

I will caution you to be sure to buy the product as pictured. Either the company has reformulated and repackaged these, or there is a counterfeit version out there, but the latest purchase I made (which has a picture of a coffeepot on the front rather than a coffee cup) does not seem to work as well. I sometimes have to repeat the process twice (using twice as much product) to get the same effect that I did before.

Purchased this to replace a 10 year old Mr Coffee that worked fine but I was tired of replacing the cheap carafes. For the published price of this machine I think it is over-rated. A few complaints:
1) No way to shut off the annoying 5 beep sound telling you the coffee is done. (This is a nice feature except that I get up earlier than others in the household and it does sound like an alarm clock)
2) No backlit clock. Even my $35 Mr Coffee had this so it could be used as a reference clock in the kitchen. This unit you have to be less than 3 feet away at eye level to even see the numbers; the clock is there for programming use only in my opinion.
3) Filling issues. As others have noted it is a small issue as if you are not careful it is easy to spill over into the dry grounds. Not a major problem but for the price of the unit I would consider it a major design flaw.
4) Coffee flavor good but nothing to get too excited about. We use filtered water at the tap so it isn't our water.
Don't see much of an improvement over my old machine so can only give it 3 stars.

The color is not a perfect match with the red in my kitchen but it is close enough. My coffee is good and hot,the place where you pour the water works fine for me, and it will adjust the strength for a small amount of coffee. I'm very pleased with my purchased!

I purchased this coffee maker in December, 2008, based on consumer comments. Six months later, water poured into the coffee maker spilled out the bottom onto the counter. After calling Cuisinart, they agreed to honor their warranty by sending us a replacement, as long as we returned the faulty product. We have received the replacement in a timely fashion, however, we are expected to pay return postage which will probably exceed $10!

We have been using this for about a week and so far are extremely happy with this coffeemaker. I had a Black & Decker that quit working after about 3 months and a Mr. Coffee that took at LEAST 20 minutes to make a pot of coffee!

This coffeemaker makes a pot quick and makes it hot. I LOVE the carafe, you can pour a cup anywhere and not spill any coffee! The clocks is fairly easy to set and since we don't use the programming on it dont' know about that yet but it looks like it's easy to set up. I saw some reviews complain about the access to pour water into the coffeemaker and I personally don't believe it is too small. I also like that the coffeemaker beeps when it is finished making the coffee since I am usually in another room while it is brewing.

I would buy this coffeemaker again in an instant!

I think that the Keurig is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, iced tea, at the touch of your fingers and so quickly that many guests can have their favorite drink with no fuss and always fresh and piping hot. I have given one to each of my daughters and will consider it as a christmas gift this year. Any coffee drinker who loves good fresh hot coffee will love this machine. Kudoos to the inventers. I did a lot of research and was actually reluctant about: 1) buying a single serve coffee maker (because I drink a lot of coffee) and 2) the price.
I have had the B70 for about 2 months and I absolutely love it. It's easy to setup and use, makes great coffee and looks pretty cool too.
I do tend to drink less coffee than I did but thats a good thing.
There are plenty of k-cup varieties and I also bought the reusable coffee filter. that works well but being able to just throw out the used k-cup has made me a bit lazy even when it comes to rinsing out the coffee filter.
No complaints...go buy one...

Well after wasting coffee and constantly cleaning the pot and using filter, I went ahead and got this for myself. Wow! I dont miss my old pot at all (although I gotta admit, I wish they have Dunkin Donuts k-cups, then Ill be very happy). Its fast, easy, and slick looking! But thats the aesthetic part. The best part is how this machine is pretty quiet compared to my friend's B60 (she suggested this brand to me and was initially impressed with her machine). It has a bigger water reservoir and extra features such as ice tea maker! I use it mainly for coffee too - the various quantity of coffee, cocoa, and tea brand is a nice touch. More choices means better for us. Theres only a few parts you really gotta clean. Make sure you use filtered or bottled water because water is what gives it a better taste. I would like to add a feature where the machine powers down automatically when not in used instead of reaching in the back to switch it off. Love this thing.

We just got our machine and love every bit of it. The coffee is not "cafe standard strong" coffee by any means - but hopefully there is a reason you don't mind handing over a few bucks for high quality joe to those that make it best. Its a convenient and great machine for home/office use. I didn't find it incredibly weak or watered down if you use the right settings, but did find it better than my 10 cup coffee maker. I do like the coffee and variety compared to a Flavia machine as well. I like the fact that different brands market K-Cups (especially Diedrich's) and you can use what ever coffee you like in the MyCup filters to save you money. You can get great coffee on the smallest setting if you do lean to the strong/darker side like I do. As most coffee is set to brew for a 6oz cup - not larger amounts. My Husband loves the coffee and is not able to tell the water down effect. The Iced beverage setting is wonderful as well.

How do you review a replacement coffee pot carafe anyway? I mean, it either holds liquid or it doesn't. Well this one works just fine, but it did arrive damaged out of the box with no evidence of rough treatment.

So for that reason, I'd only give it 3 stars, although I do admit that my experience is probably not typical. If your luck is better than mine, I'm sure it will do the job.

Capresso 4451.01 10-Cup Glass Replacement Carafe with Lid for Capresso Coffeemaker, Black

This purchase was to replace the original carafe we had broken. The pouring lip of the replacement carafe is much better than the original carafe that came with the coffeemaker. The original carafe would drip and leak when pouring from a full carafe. The new one does not do this. I would have broken the old one a long time ago if I had known it had been improved! Worth purchasing if you have this problem.

There's not much to say, it's a glass replacement carafe, it fits. This is our 3rd one, I guess we should be more careful when washing them. Perhaps it is a bit thin, as we haven't broken other glass items. I wish they sold a thermal carafe to fit our old machine.

I was disappointed. Arrived a large book with equally large space filling print. For me it lacked sufficient images and some of the discriptive details were simply incorrect and showed a lack of knowledge of the subject. To sum up its a coffee-table type of book only that lacks depth and study, but may appeal to the new collector or established collector.

This coffee maker is really great with the adjustable temperature for the heating element and the charcoal filter, it makes the coffee taste so much better. No more burnt coffee. I have really hard water and the filters take care of all of that. Truly the greatest coffee maker I have ever owned.

Brews good coffee, easy to use, and is nice looking. I remember reading a review about the "beep" and how supposedly piercingly loud it was. There is a beep when the coffee is ready and another when it is turning itself off, but it is FINE for regular people with less than canine hearing. I have two complaints though- design features. You can only take the gold filter portion out of the machine to clean and not the cup that the filter sits in. Not a huge issue, but I like to clean that part too (so I just wipe it out with some vinegar and a paper towel.) Also, the lid to the carafe is a bit hard to clean (around the top where the coffee drips in.) Again, not a huge issue, but could have been made easier. Overall, we love this pot and our coffee.
